Report a Cheater

You just saw a guy spin hacking on the Frozenshock server and want to get him banned. What should you do?

1. Getting the players SteamID.

To find it type "status" in the console and find the person that you think is cheating and get his SteamID. Should look something like 0:X:XXXXX (number will vary depending on length SteamID) the window still down and that will take a screenshot their ID.D. You can either copy that line or highlight there name and type screenshot with the window still open.

2. Recording a demo.

To record a demo go into Spectator Mode, which is easily done by pressing your change teams button, and find the Spectator button. Now, go into first person view and view the person you want to record. Go to console and type in "record spinhacker.dem. It will say "recording to hacker.dem". You can name it anything, just make sure it’s a short and simple name that you can remember and you don’t have to add dem at the end of the name. When you are done recording the demo of the suspected hacker type "stop" in the console. Now go into your CStrike folder and at the bottom should be the hacker.dem file. You will have to compress this file in a ZIP to make it able to be uploaded to the forums, I suggest you use WinRAR or WinZIP to do this. Once you zip it up, upload it onto your report in the Report Cheaters section, with the Steam ID and name. Also, if you would like to watch your demo before you upload it here, just type "playdemo hacker.dem" in the console and it will load up, being an experienced demo watcher I suggest using "viewdemo hacker.dem" it is much faster because you can change speeds, slow it down, and play it back if you miss a part or want to see it again. Feel free to Private message any of the FrozenShock admins with any questions or conserns you have with any player and we will handle them. To upload a demo with vBulletin you will have to go to click the paperclick (right by smiley face) and attach it that way if it's to big make sure that you zipped it.
